About Me

Providing Top-of-the-Line Legal Services in Staten Island, NY

Feel Confident With Me As Your Criminal Defense Attorney

I began my legal career in 2011 at the Richmond County District Attorney's Office. While working as a prosecutor, I developed my trial skills and learned the intricacies of criminal law and criminal procedure. During my tenure at the District Attorney's Office, I handled thousands of driving while intoxicated cases among other offenses. I resigned from the DA's Office in 2015 and formed the partnership of Rosas & Cirigliano.

There, I defend individuals charged with crimes ranging from driving while intoxicated and domestic violence to serious sex offenses and homicide. I'm a skilled litigator who is known around the legal community for my sharp intellect and effective advocacy. I now run Michael E. Cirigliano, Attorney at Law, P.C. While I take pride in my criminal defense services, I don't stop there. I also represent businesses and individuals before administrative tribunals, including the New York City Business Integrity Commission and the New York State Department of Labor. In these quasi-criminal proceedings, I use my advocacy skills and knowledge of the law to ensure that my clients maintain their professional licenses and privileges.

I graduated summa cum laude from New York Law School where I was an editor on the Law Review. As an alumnus, I coach the competitive mock trial team where I share my knowledge and experience with law students. I'm also an active member of the Richmond County Bar Association, New York State Bar Association and the New York State Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
